Satoko Katsuta (勝田 聡子 Katsuta Satoko), nicknamed Sato (サトちゃん, Sato-chan), is one of the characters of Hai-Furi. She is the Harekaze's navigator and substitute helmsman.
Appearance[]
Satoko has purple hair where ther is one bunch tied up and green eyes.
Apart from her school uniform, she also wears a pair of big yellow earrings.
Personality[]
Satoko can be candid most of the time who is not afraid to be straightforward even when it doesn't help.
As a verbal tic, she sometimes ends her sentences with "zona".
Etymology[]
- The name Satoko means "intelligent, clever, bright" (聡) (sato) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Satoko's surname Katsuta means "victory" (勝) (katsu) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta).
Trivia[]
- Satoko's fondness of Russian culture can be seen in her hobby of taking time to learn the language and eating pirozhki, a famous Russian Dish.
- Pirozhki should not be confused with pierogi. While they may seem similar, pirozhki--a Russian dish--are buns while the Polish pierogi are dumplings.
- Satoko's favorite saying is "My word is my bond."
