Sango Sugimoto

Sango Sugimoto (杉本珊瑚 Sugimoto Sango) is the captain of the repair ship called Akashi.

Etymology[]

The name Sango means "coral" (珊瑚).
Sango's surname Sugimoto means "cedar" (杉) (sugi) and "base, root, origin" (本) (moto).
