Hikari Ogasawara (小笠原 光, Ogasawara Hikari), nicknamed Hikari-chan, is one of the main characters of Hai-Furi. She is an artillery officer who is assigned to the firing command post of the ship and she serves as the main battery aimer of the Harekaze.
Etymology[]
- The name Hikari means "light" (光).
- Hikari's surname Ogasawara means "small" (小) (o), "shade, bamboo hat" (笠) (kasa/gasa) and "field, plain" (原) (hara/wara).
Trivia[]
- Like all other gunners on the Harekaze, Hikari usually spends time with the rest of the group.
